This is a publication of the Elderly Statute, which content has been taken from the book of the Legislation Series, Edições Câmara, and brings the updated text of the Statute of the Elderly, Law 10.741, dated October 1, 2003, and related legislation.
It represents the result of research and academic projects and its design was developed from the Scientific Initiation article "The Influence of Colors on the Project of Graphic Design for the Elderly".
In this publication, the Elderly Statute was nicknamed as EI!, a very common interjection, which calls attention, that is one of the main objectives, to draw attention to make people to know about this material.
In addition to many older people having a hard time accepting aging, what stands out on the cover is "EI!" And not the word "elderly", which is in the background and is often rejected by them.
The objective was to develop a publication that visually worries about the difficulties caused by ocular degeneration, which is very common in aging. The entire hierarchy of color, weight and choice of typography was designed to make them feel more comfortable reading, and to be able to find the information they want more easily, since this is a reference material.
